I’m incredibly lucky to be part of the team (as product development manager) at sample library developer Audio Imperia and was project manager for this, coordinating/overseeing all stages of development. When one of my friends received an Otamatone for a Christmas present I began a mission to get an ‘Otamatone’ virtual instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt Player platform as part of Audio Imperia’s April Fools marketing campaign. Otamatone is available to download for free on the Audio Imperia website, and I’m glad to say has been downloaded rather a lot of times as of the writing of this post!
