I’m incredibly lucky to be part of the team (as product development manager) at sample library developer Audio Imperia and worked on their latest update for their chamber strings library, Dolce Lite Edition, Dolce in collaboration with Performance Samples. A fully comprehensive chamber sized string library with 7 1st Violins, 5 2nd Violins, 4 Violas, 3 Celli, 3 Double Basses and a wide range of articulations for each, recorded in more detail than before on any Audio Imperia sample library. As part of this update, we decided to add additional melodic legato patches to provide an alternative experience with our legato articulation. We updated the existing main legato patch and in combination with the new melodic legato patch, provided our customers with a large range of additional options.  Read more about Dolce here.

I wrote a quick fun piece using Dolce in context called ‘Ruby Dawn’. All the strings in this demo (apart from the harp!) are from Dolce.
