I’m incredibly lucky to be part of the team (as product development manager) at sample library developer Audio Imperia and project managed this Flourish product, Atacama, with sound design by Barney Oram. Atacama is a combination of Surdo, Bodhran, Marching Band snare, Taikos, Rototoms and synthesized drum sounds, deeply sampled into a unique instrument which is fully playable. Includes the individual drum hits, loops and fills. With fab artwork by Ella Roberts!

I wrote a quick fun piece using Atacama in context called ‘Waiting for a Train’, with the main rhythmic backbone all from Atacama.
